AAI Public Health and Safety Policy
for
IMMUNOLOGY2022™
May 6 – 10, 2022 Portland, Oregon
In the interest of the health and safety of those attending IMMUNOLOGY2022™, AAI is requiring all attendees (scientific registrants, AAI staff, exhibitors, guests, contractors, and convention center staff) to be fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) as per the CDC Guidelines. Fully vaccinated is “everyone 12 years and older receives a primary series of COVID-19 vaccine.”
To attend IMMUNOLOGY2022™, official “Proof of Vaccination” (POV) confirming an attendee has been fully vaccinated is required. A full vaccination regimen must be completed by April 22, 2022, 14 days in advance of the start of the meeting.
Starting April 5, 2022, a TEXT message from 866-413-3192 will be sent to all IMMUNOLOGY2022™ attendees with POV upload instructions from the HIPAA-compliant vaccine validation company, 42Chat/HealthShield. Anyone who fails to provide a POV will not be permitted to attend the meeting.
AAI strongly recommends registering for the meeting well in advance to resolve any issues that may arise.
On-site registration within the Convention Center will not be available. Anyone needing to register once in Portland will have to do so remotely, e.g., from their hotel, and upload their POV .
IMMUNOLOGY2022™ attendees are encouraged to be masked indoors and when attending AAI sessions and events.
IMMUNOLOGY2022™ attendees will be required to follow all AAI health and safety policies.
